Program Training Modules

The Research Innovations using Sensor Technology in Environmental Justice Communities, or RISE Communities program envisions a point of access to experts across disciplinary focuses for both community and academic partners to support self-directed learning. In addition to the discussion board, this includes a repository of archived monthly webinar session videos, online learning videos that can be viewed any time, brief reports and information sheets that address common questions and problems in the topics represented by the program partners, as well as fact sheets and trouble-shooting tools from sensor manufacturers so that participants can find answers and help in one place. This page is dedicated to archives of our training program modules.

This free library will be an important resource for participants in the RISE Communities program, but also for anyone learning or working in the fields of community engaged research (CEnR), environmental health research, and air quality monitoring using sensors. Users can view video modules for an introduction to a method or issue, or for a refresher on a specific topic.
